dipped by hand in We, McGee's natural indigo vat to achieve an earthy, mellow mottled blue tone. The dynamic dye process creates a unique, organically occurring print reminiscent of light on water, or the variations of color in granite rock.
condition: very good. sturdy, ready to wear. carefully rinsed and washed to prevent color loss. overall wear as expected for a utilitarian garment of this nature. some wear at drawstring opening, lace and skirt pleat were put in with unrefined hand stitching. a few tiny breaks in lace.
We recommend washing our indigo dyed pieces on a cold, gentle setting with a natural ph neutral detergent with like colors. Gentle hand wash works great too! And air drying out of direct sun to best preserve the natural color.
