1920s Domestic Worker’s Lavender Smock Dress

in soft lavender grey cotton with accent collar, shift cut with single hip patch pocket.

closure: hidden buttons down the front to hip, cinch waist with fabric belt.

condition: fair/good vintage workwear condition. Very sturdy, clean and versatile piece. Would have been worn and washed repeatedly in its first life, and as such is made to last, but shows wear commensurate with age and use. Missing one cuff button. Light yellow marks scattered across the skirt, mainly at the back, did not lift with soak (maybe could be soaked longer, but I suggest being happy with it as-is!) a couple small darker marks on front of skirt. A tear at skirt hem. See images. Belt would originally have had two buttons to fasten. Add your own or wear as shown!
