This sleek and minimalist design maintains some odes to classic bridal wear. halter-style silk satin bodice with princess seams and a slightly raised waistline over a modified a-line skirt in a double layer of slightly shimmery silk organza. The back panels fluted and slightly lengthened to create a minimal sweep train. The back further embellished with decorative silk satin covered buttons to the floor and a large sculptural tri-ribbon bow with sweeping tails. Bodice fully lined, skirt with built-in petticoat and slip. A great opportunity to wear an icon of bridal fashion at an accessible price point!
closure: hidden nylon zipper up the center back
label: Vera Wang, made in the USA
condition: very good. freshly washed. Some minor wear to underarms and faint discoloration at underarms (which I do not believe would be visible at all when worn). One small frayed patch at right waist seam (see image) and a very small surface wear area on the back skirt. Presents beautifully as-is and could be further refreshed by a professional gown dry cleaner if desired. Please message me with any questions!

My boyfriend and I are planning a city hall wedding/small party post-pandemic, and I happened to find this elegant Vera Wang(!!!) dress that not only fits the simple elegance that I envisioned, but is the EXACT right size—length and all! No alterations needed whatsoever. I'm in awe. Cynical as I am, this just felt like it was meant to be, and I cannot wait to wear it when the day finally comes. Such a great eye and attention to detail at wemcgee. Very grateful to have found the perfect dress here.
