beautiful woven cotton with ribbed details, and slate-colored striping. a series a fine pintucks at the waist open into pleats at the knee, creating a slightly flared silhouette, with extra pleating at the back center. closes with 3 hooks-and-eyes in the back.

condition: good. freshly laundered, very sturdy with no structural flaws. cosmetic flaws include general areas of yellowing, scattered marks, some faint, some more obvious. this was washed/gently soaked several times, but the dark stripes are not color fast, so it had to be removed quickly and dried to prevent dye run. suffice to say: it is not a good candidate for the kind of long soak it would need to remove stains and lighten the white. It is clean, and I suggest enjoying/appreciating as is.
