Antique Crescent Moon + Star Locket

era: 1890-1910

a favorite motif of crescent moon and shining star set with rhinestones in a rosey gold fill round locket. the interior with compartments for stashing photos, mantras, spells. locks of hair, etc. with one set of original removeable frame and celluloid cover. engraved on the reverse with monogram "HMS" in decorative font. 

hallmarked for the Wightman & Hough Co. of Providence RI

very good/excellent condition. firm clasp. a couple rhinestones look to be replacements, a few small losses/chips.
