Rare and insanely fabulous navy blue cold rayon with arresting teal and red orchid print. the lightly fitted bodice with cuffed dolman sleeves, wide collar, and waist pleats. the pants with extremely relaxed fit and wide sweep, pleated at the waist seam. Covered metal zipper runs to low hip. Single side seam pocket. Slate blue rayon sash ties at waist.

condition: excellent. very fresh and sturdy. I noted a small spot and faint water-ring type mark right at the top of the zipper. This would not be seen if neckline is worn slightly open, but even so is very faint. See close up image. some light discoloring at neckline. Sash is faded, and I wonder if it is not the original, although it is of the era.
