Antique Gold Heart Shaped Locket with Rhinestones

era: c. 1900-1910s

larger sized warm gold-fill heart locket with beautiful Art Nouveau scrolled design set with graduated rhinestones: 26 in all. The reverse etched with initials "ES". the interior compartments for storing a favorite fortune, photo, or lock of hair, with all original removeable "frame" parts. 

hallmarked for Whightman & Hough Co. of Providence RI

1 1/4" tall by 1 1/8" wide

very good condition. light surface wear/ patina as expected, with a little more wear around the point and outer edge of the heart. firm clasp.
