Antique Gold Locket with Art Nouveau Rhinestone Design

antique 1890-1910s

warm gold-fill finish with pretty paste rhinestone-studded tendrils that fan out and scroll delicately at the ends. the interior with two compartments for adding photos or storing mantras, haikus, etc. One removable frame still present.

hallmarked for the Whightman & Hough Co. of Providence, RI

very good condition. firm clasp, presents beautifully. rhinestones have lovely shimmer in person. some stones have darkened with time, which only gives them character. interior is missing some original pieces, as seen/described. reverse has some small scrapes and dents, as seen in photo.
